29/05/2020: Notice for Possible 2nd Repatriation Flight for Stranded Bangladeshi Nationals

VOID

The 2nd flight was operated on 06 June 2020

After receiving requests from stranded Bangladeshi in the United States, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh amid COVID-19 pandemic situation, in coordination with Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, D.C. and the Consulates General of Bangladesh in New York and Los Angeles, has taken initiative to arrange a second special flight to bring home stranded Bangladesh citizens from the USA, depending on the availability of a minimum required number of passengers to operate the flight. This special flight will be arranged as soon as possible. The stranded Bangladeshi citizens in USA who want to return at own expenses are requested to send an email expressing their interest to mission.washington@mofa.gov.bd with all information as soon as possible. The interested passengers will be notified with further details of the flight once the minimum required number of passenger are met. This is to ascertain the number of such people who would like to avail of the flight, if arrangement is made. Depending on the number of interested passengers, the Ministry will consider the possibility of arranging a flight from the USA to Dhaka at the earliest.
